As Beth and I look back on last weekend’s wedding celebration, we thank you for making the sacrifice of time and money to bear witness to one of the most important moments in our lives.
And our deepest appreciation to Tony and Shari Perry, whose unconditional support, encouragement, and assistance allowed us to craft a weekend that reflected our relationship in detail and dimension.
To my mother, Jean Bennett, whose super-human courage and compassionate heart inspires us all. She assumed responsibilities beyond comprehension during the planning process — choosing a dress with Beth in New Jersey; traveling to Virginia to learn how to bustle it; hand-tying 150 programs and 150 favor boxes the week of the wedding … all while her first granddaughter was coming into the world. And to my father, Gary Bennett Sr., whose quiet strength, advocacy, advice, and backing make it all possible.
To my brother, Gary Jr., for caring enough to type and send his toast for my parents to read — even as his wife, Leah, was about to give birth to their first child.
To Ernest Johnson, Mike Engel, Justin Vero, and Joe Carlos for capturing our day in vivid detail.
To our bridesmaids, groomsmen and ceremony readers, whose friendship we treasure. We are indebted. And an extra thanks to Beth’s maid of honor, Tiffany Miller, for opening her home to us during our countless planning visits to Atlanta.
To the Rev. Dr. Otis Moss, Jr., who honored us by officiating our ceremony, and Pastor Shaun King, who offered the thoughtful and Spirit-filled blessing at the reception. Both altered their busy schedules to join us, and we are eternally grateful for their consideration and kindness.

Just Beautiful!! I’m so sorry I missed the wedding! Where should I send the gift?
Simply put: The most beautiful, stately and elegant wedding I’ve ever seen. And to think you planned each aspect of it by yourselves! I am impressed but not at all surprised! Blessings to you both.
